About Me…
Chetna Bhatt
Founder
Chetna Bhatt is a practising senior lawyer and executive coach.
In 2015, she had the idea of creating the first wellbeing conference for lawyers. The Law Society asked to co-host it. What followed was a decade of speaking nationally and internationally, including the Health and Wellbeing at Work Conference at the NEC and a global conference for five consecutive years, as well as writing for the Solicitors Journal and The Law Society.
After running herself into the ground as a lawyer and becoming chronically ill, Chetna came across an understanding of the mind that changed everything. She realised that while the demands of legal practice hadn't changed, her experience of them had. She saw that her experience of pressure wasn't being created by the job itself, but by the way the mind works. That simple yet profound insight transformed her own life and now underpins everything she shares with lawyers.
Today, Chetna works with law firms and lawyers through talks, workshops, executive coaching and group programmes. Rather than teaching lawyers how to cope with pressure, she helps them understand where their experience of pressure comes from. As a result, they naturally think more clearly, make better decisions and experience greater ease at work and at home.
She measures the outcomes of her programmes using validated psychological instruments, and the results have been striking.
